Shirley Snodgrass

Shirley joined Gollob Morgan Peddy in June of 2005 to manage the CAAS Department. Prior to joining GMP, Shirley was the CFO of a private media firm for almost 20 years.

"I have been gratified to see our CAAS department grow to be the largest in the region." - Shirley states - " I enjoy mentoring the CAAS staff and working with our partners to assist all clients with bookkeeping issues." Shirley is a Certified QuickBooks Proadvisor for both QuickBooks Desktop and Online.

Shirley is experienced in all types of businesses, but particularly enjoys construction, land development, manufacturing, medical, and professional services. She serves as the department’s primary troubleshooter and is well versed in all areas of payroll. (Quarterly reports, year-end reporting, 1099’s, and 1095 reporting).  Shirley quotes: "I stay current with the regulatory environment by taking frequent continuing education courses."

What Shirley particularly enjoys is meeting and assisting new business owners in getting their bookkeeping systems in line with current best practices.

Shirley has been married to her high school sweetheart Larry since 1984. They have two children, Andrew (Olivia) and Allison (Davis) and they are all graduates of Texas A&M University. Shirley quotes: "Andrew and Olivia have the most precious daughter ever. (I might be a little prejudiced), we bleed maroon in our household."

Shirley loves all sports, especially if they are Aggie sports. She enjoys spending time with family when not working, and she LOVES quilting and has made many quilts for the GMP babies. Shirley says: "Quilting is my therapy."
