Danny's interest in accounting started in high school when he competed in a Texas UIL contest. He learned early on that accounting came naturally. "During my senior year in high school, I decided that I would major in business with a focus in accounting," remembers Danny, "At the time UT Tyler was offering a 5-year program in which I could receive a bachelor's and master's degree and be ready to sit for my CPA exam."
During that time Danny also spent many hours working for his dad’s construction company. A combination of a love for accounting and construction experience has paid off. “My practice focuses on corporate, partnership, and individual taxation with a specialty in construction. My experience working for my dad allows me to better understand the needs of construction company owners. I enjoy working with construction owners from residential builders to commercial contractors.”
Danny is a native East Texan having grown up around Sulphur Springs. He and his wife Bethany have been married for 10 years, though they've known each other since they were children. They are parents to an amazing little girl, Emi. Coming from East Texas, Danny loves the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, and spending time on his parent's farm are some of his favorite things to do!
